1. cook your meat, seafood, or vegetables: grill, bake, or pan fry meat/ seafood; for vegetables, steam until tender
2. make the glaze: melt butter in small saute pan, add garlic and cook over medium-high heat until garlic begins to brown; add remaining ingredients and heat on medium-low heat until mixture begins to simmer
3. Finish your dish: pre-heat oven to 450; place meat, seafood, or vegetables on a roasting rack and line the bottom of the pan with foil; brush all sides of the meat, seafood, or vegetables with glaze until fully coates; let bake in oven until glaze starts to brown (~10-15 minutes) occasionally basting with the glaze drippings; remove from oven and let stand for at least 10 minutes before serving
