Spicy Deviled Eggs

A spicy take on a southern classic using Andor PeppersTMhot mustard, Cheat Heat hot sauce, and Cheat Heat Smoked Spice Mix


ingredients

12 eggs (we use brown cage free)

2 TBS fine chopped sweet pickles

1/2 TSP sweet pickle juice

2 green onions (white part only – finely chopped)

2 TBS Andor PeppersTMPepper Mustard

3 TBS Mayo (we use 1 TBS Hellman’s + 2 TBS Garlic Avocado Oil Mayo)

1 TSP Andor PeppersTMCheat Heat Hot Sauce

Sea salt (to taste)

Black pepper (to taste)

 


Finishing Ingredients

Thick cut, applewood smoked bacon (cooked and roughly chopped)

Andor PeppersTMCheat Heat Smoked Spice Mix

2 green onions (green part only – finely chopped)

sliced jalapeno

1.     Prep the eggs: split 12 hard-boiled eggs in ½, put yolks in a mixing bowl and set whites aside on a serving tray

2.     Make the filling: add the next 8 ingredients to the mixing bowl and whisk together until creamy

3.     Fill and finish eggs:  add a spoonful or so of the yolk mixture to each egg white, sprinkle with Cheat Heat Smoked Spice Mix, then top with chopped bacon and green onion – if you need an extra kick, add a sliced jalapeno under the bacon and onion
