sweet and spicy cocktail meatballs

meatballs Smothered in a bold blend of strawberry jam, tangy BBQ sauce, and a fiery kick from strawberry lemon hot sauce for the perfect balance of sweet and spicy.


Meatballs Ingredients

1 cup Andor Peppers Strawberry Hot Lemon Sauce

3 TBS strawberry jelly (optional)

1 ½ cup BBQ sauce (we use Sweet Baby Rays Hickory & Brown Sugar)

2-3 lbs frozen fully cooked meatballs

1 clove minced garlic per pound of meatballs

Parsley or chives to garnish


INstructions

  1. Prep the sauce: in slow cooker add the Strawberry Hot Lemon Sauce, jelly, and BBQ sauce – mix until combined well

  2. Heat the meatballs: Add meatballs to sauce, cover and heat in slow cooker on low setting for 3-4 hours stirring in garlic halfway

  3. Finish your dish: keep covered on warm slow cooker setting until ready to serve - we put warm toast points or slider buns out with parsley or chives
